We Are Innovative
We provide reliable and responsive supports and always think outside the box. We are passionate and creative in finding solutions to overcome life’s challenges and believe that supports & services are never a one size fits all solution.
We Are Authentic
We strive to remain honest, original & genuine in our work and relationships. You are encouraged to speak openly, without judgement and ask questions. Relationships cannot grow without trust, and trust cannot be established unless you feel safe to show your authentic self.

Our Story
The meaning behind our name
Purple Heather is the legendary flower of Scotland, as iconic as the lochs, haggis, and good old Nessie the Loch Ness Monster.
Originally from Glasgow in Scotland, Directors Paul & Ash emigrated to Perth WA in 2011. While Australia is now home, the love for their homeland is as strong as their passion for their work with people, families and communities. Ash is a social worker, and huge advocate for social change. She and Paul founded Purple Heather in 2022 with a desire to support and maintain family-based care arrangements for people and helping to fill the cups of participants and their supports.
People we work with
Our unique approach to care and coordination personalises the experience for every child, young person, and grownup we are connected to.
We focus on developing and sustaining trusting and therapeutic relationships with individuals and their Purple Heather team.
Why Purple Heather
Passion for about family-based care arrangements and support systems
Our seat at the table is to explore and design supports and services around the participant’s needs
